Radio host Peter Deibler, famously known as ‘Kane’ started hosting the nationally syndicated radio morning show “The Kane Show ” on November 1st, 2006 with his co-hosts Sarah Fraser and Samy K, which officially hit the Washington D.C. airwaves on November 13th, 2006.
The Kane Show actually replaced an already existing morning show The Hot Morning Mess with Mark Kaye, Kris Gamble, and producer Ron Ross.
The Kane Show Team Controversies
As the show went on to gets higher popularity ranking among the audience, its team being shuffled all the time except the Kane who was the backbone of the show.
First, Samy K let the show in August 2011 and replaced by John in early 2012. In the meanwhile, another co-host Melanie Glazener joined the team. However, on the other side, the cane show expanded its telecast out of Florida.
In January 2013, Sarah also left The Kane Show due to pursuing her TV career in New York. However, she was immediately replaced by Danni Starr.
Another resignation took place via Instagram on January 20, 2014. This time Melanie was the one who decided to leave the show. She was replaced by Rose soon after.
In 2016, Program Director Tommy Chuck confirmed the Danni will not be the part of The Kane Show anymore. There were many speculations and rumors around on multiple media sites and on social media because of Danni Starr twenty days absence but that announcement from Tommy Chuck wipe out these speculations.
Its lineup as it stands today is Kane along with his co-hosts Erick, Rose, John, and Riley.
In 2009, Industry Magazine FMQB entitled The Kane Show as “Best Local Morning Show. It is being telecast on seven additional radio stations such as Louisville, WNRW, Memphis, KWNW, and Radio Now 98.9 etc. WFLZ’s MJ Morning show was ended on February 17, 2012, after its 18 years long telecast with an announcement that The Kane Show will replace the show after three days.
Before this in January 2010, the Kane Show was debuted on iHeartRadio as 24/7 on demand channel. Because of this, the listeners can now stream The Kane Show on iHeartRadio website.
The rumors spread far and wide in mid-2016 and soon confirmed that the Kane (Peter Deibler) was arrested on Friday after allegedly assaulting his soon-to-be ex-wife Natasha Deibler, according to court records.
Between this, all his show airs in the Baltimore market on the popular top 40 station Z104.3.
After all such controversies, The Kane’s Show is one of the most popular morning show of US.
